Be An Ant

Lorraine here at Ageing Gracefully, On Humans Being More

This morning I as I sat out in my yard grounding myself and  enjoying the morning sun, a tiny black ant caught my eye.

He was  carrying a piece of food 4 times larger than himself. He was determined to squeeze it through a hole in the ground cover we have in front of the trailer.

He dragged the load, stopping at each hole until he ran up against a dry stem of grass that block his way.  There he left the load and went looking for an option of what to do next, coming back to it trying to move it further.

Finally he gave up and found another smaller piece and was successful in getting it through the hole in the ground cover.

I reflected on how the tiniest things in  nature can get the task done, never give up and make things work.

Our life is just like that.  If you can not succeed the first time, try again with a smaller task  and never give up
